Climate Crisis Rally
On Friday, September 20th, I attended the Climate Crisis rally in lower Manhattan. This rally was one of many held throughout the world. I was encouraged to see so many people, especially young people, at the rally. We all were voicing our concerns about the state of our world’s climate and the limited time we have to fix it. This climate crisis is especially concerning for our young people and their future children. If nothing is done, they will have to deal with the worsening ramifications of climate disruptions compared to what we are experiencing today, such as severe and unusual storms, raising sea levels, forest fires, melting ice caps, etc.
I thought I would share some of my photos I took while at the rally.
As you can see from the photos of the rally there is serious concern. We all need to join in and raise our voices so our political leaders hear us. The time to do something is now! Our leaders need to enact regulations to dramatically reduce carbon emissions. Also, as individuals, we each need to look at our own carbon footprint and make the necessary changes to significantly reduce it. Lastly, I hope you will write your representatives and let them know you are watching them and expect them to take the needed actions on this matter. This is not the time for partisan fighting.
As usual, I welcome your feedback. Email me at
